Haven't been up to much around here lately other than school for the kids, working out, working and trying to have fun, oh AND creating! :)

It's the 6th year anniversary of 9/11. I will always remember what I was doing at that time. I remember waking up to get ready for work and turned on the tv. I saw the second airplane, I thought to myself... what movie is this?!?! Then realized it was real life. I just couldn't believe it!

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family memebers as well as the service men and women who continue to fight for us/me.

On a lighter note here are a couple of new items up at my OAKS shoppe.

Sept 07, 07

Well, It's 10:46am and I havent been to sleep yet from working my 12 hrs lastnight. The kids had preschool today so I had to try and do something to keep my butt awake so I can go get them at 11:30. I knew that if I fell asleep the chance of me waking was slim lol and at 5.00 for every 5 min after 11:30 I can't really afford that :)

So, I took the kids to school and then headed for the gym. I am very proud of myself, I rode the bike for 30 min then pumped some iron for 30 min. Right now my arms are sooo tired they are shaking a bit lol. I think I might have worked out a little to much?!?! but I am feeling GREAT. Then I washed my car and now I am home with some time to spare so I am writting on this here little bloggy :)

Lastnight at work I got some information on health insurance.... for my family if I want a $500 deductible it's ONLY (cough cough) $930.00 a month. If I want the $5,000 deduc. It's ONLY (cough cough) 728.00. I just cannot believe it. It's a great deal if I had say... 20 kids because the price woudn't go up but for the 4 of us it's CRAZY! I just cannot believe it. I am a firm believer that anyone in health care should have free health insurance as well as their family members, due to the fact that we are exposed to SOOO many nasty things :( Health insurance just gets me heated :(

First day of Pre-School

First I am glad to say that I am DONE with that 10 days straight stuff.... man oh man that was a LONG 10 days! I worked hard and played even harder. It was nice to end that 10 days with 3 days at the beach!!! We went to Pacifica, CA and it was a blast! Took the kids on a train ride up into the mountains to see some 3000 year old Redwood trees, played on the sandy beaches and enjoyed our time together!

The kids had their 1st day of preschool today!! :) They enjoyed their time away I am sure of it. It wasn't hard on them at all, I thought that I'd get away easy myself but as I reached the gate I started to tear up :( My babies are growing up. Just to think that this time next year it will be Kindergarden... YIKES!
